Roles & Responsibilities

 

INKKOME COMMITTEE 

InKKome Committee Chair:  Current Treasurer

Committee Responsibilities:

  • Fundraising Strategy Development: The committee collaborates to create effective fundraising strategies. These strategies help raise funds for specific causes or projects.

  • Organizing Fundraising Events: The committee plans and executes various fundraising events. These events can include car washes, auctions, charity runs, bake sales, or any other creative initiatives to engage donors and raise funds.

  • Diversifying Revenue Streams: By implementing diverse fundraising approaches, the committee helps mitigate financial risks associated with relying on a single funding source. This diversification ensures the fraternity’s financial resilience.

  • Ensure the Progression of Fundraisers: Members of this committee are responsible with ensuring that all fundraisers run smoothly, whether it be 

SERVICE COMMITTEE 

Service Chair: 

  • Inform E-Board about events that must be placed on the DI,, calendar

  • Communicate with the Income committee for any service projects that require funding.

  • Take in service proposals from New Potential Candidates for the Fraternity

Committee Responsibilities: 

  • Create service proposals for the Frat and ultimately get them done. 

  • Be in constant communication with Band Staff so service is taking place for the 100 

  • Refrain from limiting service to the band-room, consider Foster Tanner Music Dept. as a whole (Around campus, possible collaboration with other service orgs)

  • Community Outreach.

 

MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE 

Membership Committee Chair: Current Vice President of Membership

Committee Responsibilities: 

  • Assist the VPM with fraternal relations

  • Plan Recruitment events 

  • Perform Roles in the Degrees/ritual ceremonies 

  • Assisting with Continuing Education

  • Plan/Execute Fellowship activities for the Brotherhood (events do not need to always be thoroughly planned, just have initiative/ spontaneously start something) 

  • Keeping Alumni engaged (reach out to those who are in town, as well as the DI,, Foundation)

 

 

SONG COMMITTEE 

Song Leader Role: 

  • Warm up

  • Conduct Song Rehearsals

  • Teach the songs of the fraternity

  • Identify the correct pitches Assign Section Leaders. Prioritize songs to learn for performances

Committee Roles: 

  • Composed of one Brother per vocal  (Tenor 1, Tenor 2, Baritone, and Bass)

  • Work hand and hand with the song leader and conduct their own sectionals outside of Full Song Rehearsals.

 

 

STEP / STROLL COMMITTEE 

Step Master: 

  • Oversee and lead/assist in the teaching of steps and strolls to the potential candidates/the chapter

  • In charge of any and all step shows, competitions, showcases etc. 

  • Must know the material proficiently i.e strolls, steps 

Step Committee Responsibilities

- Support the step master in completing tasks they cannot finish or when they delegate tasks, including providing instruction on their behalf.

- Assist in coming up with shows/themes for various performances and showcases.b 

- Needs to learn, know, and teach the material adequately and efficiently.


 

WOOD / ARTS COMMITTEE 

Wood / Arts Chair: Communicates with E-board any possible projects the committee is discussing and coordinates with the VPM on dates to do woodwork while Intake is occurring.

Committee Responsibilities:

  • Develop creative ideas, processes, and executions of a project related to Beautification of the band room, patch, or various plots.

  • Responsible for assisting the new membership candidates with wood work for the probate


 

MEDIA COMMITTEE 

Media Committee Chair: Current Historian

Committee Responsibilities:

  • Develop positive exposure of the chapter when it comes to Social Media. 

  • Updating the DI,, Website with monthly Newsletter like reports.

  • Need brothers for graphic design, journaling, live streaming, and other social media aspects.
